5th International FVA-Conference
The Expert Forum for Bearings –
Rolling and Plain Bearings!

On June 25 and 26, the Research Association for Drive Technology (FVA) hosted the international BEARING WORLD conference in the picturesque city of Würzburg, Germany. The event attracted around 200 participants from 16 countries, who engaged with 20 exhibitors over the course of two days. Among the exhibitors were the event's sponsors: Schaeffler Technologies, SKF Group, and FUCHS LUBRICANTS GERMANY.
Prof. Gerhard Poll from IMKT, Leibniz University Hannover, Prof. Bernd Sauer from MEGT, RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, and Christian Kunze from the Research Association for Drive Technology kicked off the conference. Dr. Michael Pausch from Schaeffler Technologies, Freddy Hernández from SKF Group, and Dennis Labisch from FUCHS LUBRICANTS GERMANY delivered keynotes.
BEARING WORLD featured a top-tier scientific program aimed at fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration between research and industry. 40 distinguished speakers from the industry and leading research institutes provided insights into various critical topics.
After this year’s successful conference, participants are already looking forward to the next BEARING WORLD, scheduled for 2026.
